Alejandro (Alex) Javier Bustamante
5/3/1974—10/25/2009
He passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25, 2009, as a result of a bicycle accident four days prior. Alex was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on May 3, 1974, to Javier Bustamante and Margaret Jo Luvaas Bustamante. He is survived by his daughter, Kaelyn Lavin of Gambrills, Md.; parents, Javier Bustamante, Baltimore, Md., and Jo Bustamante, Lee's Summit, Mo.; step mother Josefa Santome; sisters Margo Yerk, of Lee's Summit, Mo. and Alicia Schmidt, of Baltimore, MD, and their husbands and children, step brother Manuel Varela, of Washington DC; and Akex's girlfriend Marianne Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to his daughter's Kaelyn Lavin's educational fund. Make the check payable to:

and write Kaelyn Lavin in the memo line of the check

Falleció repentinamente el domingo 25 de October del 2009, como resultado de un accidente de bicicleta 4 días antes. Alex nació en Cedar Rapids, Iowa, el 13 de mayo de 1974, hijo de Javier Bustamante y Margaret Jo Luvaas Bustamante. Le sobreviven su hija Kaelyn Lavin, de Gambrills, Md.; su padre Javier, de Baltimore, Md., y su madre Jo Bustamante, de Lee's Summit, Mo.; su madrasta Josefa Santome; sus hermanas Margo Yerk de Greenwood y Alicia Schmidt y sus cuñados y sobrinos; su hermanastro Manuel Varela, de Washington DC, y la novia de Alex Marianne Jones.
