Dear Members and Friends,
Chamber member, OBA Bank, is inviting us to participate in in this year’s OBA Bank Charity Golf Tournament. This is their 5th tournament and promises to be the most exciting ever. OBA Bank has some wonderful prizes in store for you. To begin with, they’ll be auctioning off a one-week stay in Costa Rica (airfare not included) with room enough for eight of your friends. Hole in one prizes include, golf clubs, DVD player, a trip for two – you can choose from over 150 locations, and of course a Harley on the 15th hole. We are attaching a brochure that provides further information. Proceeds from the tournament this year will be donated to Rebuilding Together. Formally known as Christmas in April, Rebuilding Together works in partnership with the community to repair the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled, so that they can live in warmth, safety and independence. Since 1990, Rebuilding Together has repaired over 1,000 homes with 31,000 volunteers and many of us have helped Christmas in April in different capacities over the years. OBA Bank is one of the oldest financial institutions in the country . . . They like to consider themselves 143 years young. Founded in 1861 OBA Bank provides outstanding customer service, while building long lasting relationships with our customers and offering a full line of products and services to accommodate today’s lifestyles. OBA Bank is also a major supporter of the Chamber. Please consider lending your support to this worthwhile cause--helping rebuild the homes and lives of those who need it most. Very best regards,

2005 Calendar of Events for the Western Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
There are several noteworthy changes:
1. in addition to networking luncheons in Frederick (first Wednesday) and Gaithersburg (third Wednesday), we have started networking luncheons in the Greater Silver Spring area (second Wednesday) and in Beltsville, MD (fourth Wednesday)
2. We have also created a Special Events section that is informational in nature only since most of the events listed are by invitation only. Some of them like the Annual Gala are open to the public and, therefore, a press release will be sent out weeks in advance.
3. The point of contact for each of the four areas (Frederick, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg and Beltsville) are listed at the end of the calendar.
4. All the monthly networking luncheons start at 11:30 AM and cost $15 per person.
5. Every month, an updated calendar will be emailed to you. The attached one is dated 03-01-05 (see end of document). Please discard the old one and use the new one until it is replaced again the following month.
Thank you in advance for your help in publicizing our events
