AWARD

On June 19th, 2005 on the 25th anniversary of Latino Fest in Patterson Park, Baltimore, Javier Bustamante, Enrique Ribadeneira and Gilberto De Jesus presented Jose Ruiz, founder of EBLO and Festival Director with a plaque reading:

"The Hispanic Community of Baltimore to José Ruiz for his Lafetime dedication to us, as Founder and Director of EBLO, Mayor's Liaison to the Hispanic Community, Executive Director of the Governor's Commission on Hispanic Affairs, Director of the Latino Fest, and Counselor, Friend and Brother to all of us. Given on the 25th Anniversary of Latino Fest, June 22nd, 2005"

José thanked the community and promised to continue working for it as he has done for a lifetime dedication to the Hispanic community of Baltimore.
