FIFA and the municipality of Valencia sign a Letter of Intent
The FIFA Executive Committee decided at its meeting on 26 May 2002 in Seoul that the site of the FIFA Hall of Fame will be in Valencia, Spain. FIFA, the Spanish FA and the autonomous Province of Valencia are about to sign a Letter of Intent to seal the plans. More information on the project will be given at a special ceremony scheduled for 12 noon on Saturday, 1 June 2002 at the Hotel Grand Hyatt in Seoul.

Meeting of the Hispanic and Jewish communities in Baltimore
On May 9th, at the Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, the two communities met in a continuation of past meetings. Fred Heyman and Jose Ruiz began the first contacts this time that culminated in this meeting. Leaders of many of the Hispanic organizations in the Baltimore area were there. Among them Luis Borunda, Baltimore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Gilberto de Jesus, SpanishTown and EBLO; Jorge Austrich, Hispanic Democratic Club; Jose Ruiz, Mayor's Liaison; Richard Colon, MACE Electric; Javier Bustamante, Spanish Town; Jaime Schwartzberg, Spanish Town; Eduardo Armenta, Montgomery County; Gigi Guzman, Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Yolanda Milam, MHCC; Jean Velez, Asissi House and Luis Hernández, EBLO. Relations are being developed in a variety of fields such as business, social and economic development and education.
