United States Air Force. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, in 1952. He completed his Master Degree in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University en Bunnell, Florida, in 1985. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal in 1983. During a combat mission in an F-111F fighter bomber, he was killed off the coast of Libya in April 1986, and was posthumously promoted to the grade of Major effective April 15, 1986
